Join us at the Currier Museum of Art for the first in a series of one-day retreats focused on the embodiment of well-being, connecting the practice of yoga with the energy of art. 

Admission includes a gentle yoga class, Art of Awareness exercises, an art activity (materials provided), meditation, lunch, journaling (journal provided) and group discussion.

Yoga, Art of Awareness, and meditation are all held within current exhibition Heart of a Museum by Saya Woolfalk.

12:45 pm Prompted Journaling

1:15 pm Art of Awareness with Art Activity + Discussion
with Suzanne Canali of Currier Museum of Art

2 pm Group Discussion + Closing Meditation

All are welcome; previous experience with yoga, meditation or art is not expected nor required. Each retreat visually highlights and physically integrates a focus area inspired by a Currier Museum special exhibition.

What to Bring 

Please dress comfortably, in flexible, breathable clothing. Layers are always a good idea. Please bring your own yoga mat, a thin blanket, and a water bottle. You can also bring any other items you like to use for yoga/meditation practice, such as yoga blocks, a meditation cushion, etc. Chairs will also be available for meditation.
