Curator Tours
Introducing a new series of interactive discussions led by the Currier’s curators and educators
Join Kurt Sundstrom, Senior Curator, for a special tour on Thursday, March 16 at 6 pm focusing on research methods used to study paintings in the Currier Museum of Art’s collection.
From dendrochronology to XRF analysis, Kurt will explore how the museum answers essential questions about the artwork on display. By re-examining works by Giovan Angelo Montorsoli, Judith Lyster, and William Rimmer, you will get an exclusive look into the science behind the art.
Admission is free during Art After Work from 5 pm to 8 pm on Thursday nights. Curator Tours meet in the Historic Court and will recur on third Thursdays at 6 pm.
