We invite the community to join us on Thursday, January 11 from 5 to 7 pm for a special, free evening celebrating the Currier’s diverse collection in recognition of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Join us for curator-led tours, a video talk from artist Sanaa Gateja, and a special performance by the Manchester Community Music School.

5:30 pm: Curator-led tour of Kara Walker’s works on view with Rachael Kane, curator of education & interpretation
6 pm: Special performance by the Manchester Community Music School in the Winter Garden
6:15 pm: Hear from the artist: Sanaa Gateja speaks about his works on view (video cameo)
6:20 pm: Curator-led tour of Sanaa Gateja: Selected Works with Lorenzo Fusi, chief curator

Admission is free after 5 pm. This evening event is a special after hours kickoff to Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 15.
