Join senior curator, Kurt Sundstrom, for our member-only preview tours of As Precious as Gold: Carpets from the Islamic World, and learn more about these extraordinary woven works of art on loan from the Saint Louis Art Museum. Kurt will help guide us through some of the history and unique aspects of this exhibition. We hope you will come see and experience the brilliant color combinations, form and function, meaning and mystery, in this art form that has evolved and spread beyond the East.
