Juneteenth Celebration
Museum Admission is Free Today!
In honor of Juneteenth – also known as Juneteenth Independence Day, Freedom Day, and Emancipation Day – we’re welcoming the Racial Unity Team to the Currier Museum for a series of engaging events surrounding the history of this meaningful day, including art-making activities for all ages, storytelling, and much more.
The day’s activities include:
10:30 am – 12:30 pm: Gallery Guide in Barontini exhibition
11 am: Curatorial tour of the exhibition, I live a journey of a thousand years: Raphaël Barontini
11 am – 2 pm: Art-making activities in the Green Studio and Historic Court (both drop-in)
12:30 – 2:30 pm: Gallery guide in the exhibition, I live a journey of a thousand years: Raphaël Barontini
