Capturing someone’s likeness is challenging. New Hampshire artist Peter Clive is well known for his life-like portraits and figures, often depicted in dramatic lighting. In this class, Peter will share his tips and techniques to help students push their portraits to the next level. Learn to use the “block in” method of sketching and portrait development when drawing from a live model, as well as how to identify light, shadow, proportions, and more.
