About The Event

For generations, Tomie dePaola’s stories have transformed childhood. This winter, the legacy of dePaola’s imagination transforms the Currier Museum of Art into a space for wonder.

Explore the museum to discover six festive trees inspired by dePaola’s storytelling. With whimsical, hand-made decorations, each tree evokes a beloved book, from Strega Nona and Her Tomatoes to I Love You, Mouse.

There will also be a community tree in the Winter Garden and a complementary exhibition of dePaola’s illustrations and drawings.

Whether you are eight or 68, you will delight in this joyful journey  through the stories that unite us. It’s your new cozy winter tradition to enjoy with friends and families.
