Please note that all in person classes take place at the Currier Museum. Classroom are located on the ground floor of the museum. The building is wheelchair accessible.

Currier Members save 10% on all classes and workshops.

Policies

  • Tuition Refund and Rescheduling Policies
    • Full tuition must accompany your application for registration (with the exception of students applying for tuition assistance.) Refund requests due to student withdrawal are granted up to three weeks before the class/workshop begins. A $25 non-refundable registration fee will be charged to students refunded. Tuition and fees will not be transferred to another term. A full refund will be granted to students whose class/workshop is canceled due to insufficient enrollment.
  • Inclement Weather and Postponement Policies
    • Classes canceled or postponed because of weather will be made up, if possible, at the end of the term. During conditions of inclement weather students and faculty can call 603-518-4922 for a recorded message after 7 am or go to currier.org for the latest updates. Additionally, the Art School will post cancellations on wmur.com.
  • Arrival and Departure Policy for Students
    • Parents and legal guardians should accompany students to and from their designated class during the Fall, Winter and Spring sessions. Exceptions to this procedure must be made in writing from the parent or guardian to the student’s instructor prior to the beginning of class.
  • Photography Policy
    • We photograph classes and student art for promotional purposes. Please notify the art school office during time of enrollment if you wish to decline being photographed.
  • Student Behavior
    • The Currier Museum Education Director reserves the right to dismiss a student for problematic behavior that results in the disruption of class. We have a zero tolerance for drug use, physical or verbal harassment, smoking or weapons on our premises.
  • Technology Policy
    • No cellphone use in classroom during camp and class sessions in kids and teen classes, unless otherwise permitted by teacher.
  • Storing Artwork
    • The  Currier Art Museum is not responsible for the storage of student work after the conclusion of the term.


Student Certificates

Class Certificates for High School Students
A certificate of class completion is available upon request.

Professional Credit Hours for Teachers
All K-12th grade teachers can receive Professional Development hours for classes and workshops at the Museum. Please notify our registrar that you wish to receive a certificate and one will be given to you after the completion of your class.
