  • May I take photographs in the museum?
    • Yes, but no flash, selfie sticks, or tripods are permitted.
  • Where can I eat at the Museum?
    • The Winter Garden Café offers visitors a selection of fresh sandwiches, salads, and daily specials. Hours: 10 am to 3 pm, open until 8 pm on Thurs.
      Admission is not required to visit the Café.
  • Are baby strollers allowed?
    • Soft-front baby carriers are allowed in all areas of the museum. Strollers are generally allowed in all areas of the museum, but there may be restrictions during periods of heavy attendance. The museum provides strollers on a first-come, first-served basis. They are sanitized between uses.
  • Is there a place to check coats and bags?
    • Yes, the Currier has a free coat room located behind the Guest Services desk at the main entrance. No large bags or backpacks are allowed in the museum, so we advise leaving them at home or in your car.
  • Is there a chair or stool I can bring around the museum?
    • Our Guest Services can provide a lightweight stool for use in the galleries.
  • Can I reserve a wheelchair?
    • We have wheelchairs available on a first-come, first-served basis. They are sanitized between uses.
  • Does the Museum appraise works of art?
  • Can I reproduce an object in the Currier Museum's collection?
    • Images of many objects are available on the website for free educational and personal use. For commercial reproduction or special photography requests, contact rights&repro@currier.org.
  • May I draw in the museum?
    • We encourage drawing with pencil only (no charcoal) in the collection galleries. 
  • How do I schedule a school or private group tour?
  • Do you schedule group tours in languages other than English?
    • The Currier currently offers guided group tours in French, Spanish, Italian, and German by prior arrangement. We can also arrange tours for the hearing-impaired with signing with 2-weeks’ advance notice. Visit our education + programming page for more information on tours.
