Since the dawn of time, human beings have conveyed meaning through pictorial devices. In this course, students will investigate the rich tradition of narrative drawing, looking at examples from ancient history through contemporary times, and create meaningful renderings inspired by the observation of our own lives, literature, memory, and imagination. This zoom-based course will include in-class assignments as well as homework. Class is conducted in real time (EST), scheduled through Zoom. Link will be provided prior to first class.
