Join talented artists Rachael and John David O’Shaughnessy for this special shore-side, plein air workshop in beautiful Ogunquit, Maine! Using the sea as their subject, students will spend the day learning to see the sea through the art of drawing and painting on site, as well as given instruction and demonstrations on topics such as site set-up, paint handling, color choices, composition, brush stroke application, water reflections, and more. Inspirations are offered from within the Currier ‘s collection, from historic Perkins Cove, and beyond. All skill levels welcome.

REGISTER 

Students are responsible for getting to the painting site in Ogunquit, Maine on their own. There is a fee for the town parking lot. Please arrive 1/2 hour early and  pack a lunch, a sun hat, water, sunscreen and your art supplies. All logistical details for the workshop, including the address for the plein air workshop setting are on the materials list. Please call for questions.
