Sketching is a wonderful way for painters to begin new work, heighten their seeing, and to take visual notes. Intended for students with painting experience (acrylic or oil), this online course focuses on the art of sketching as an approach to beginning a painting with immediacy and freshness. Students will learn to sketch with paint directly onto the canvas before and during the development of a painting. Class is conducted in real time (EST), scheduled through Zoom. Link will be provided prior to first class.
