On Saturday, April 22, 2017, the Currier Museum of Art will hold its annual gala auction, the Heart of the Arts, to support the Museum’s outreach and art education initiatives.
You know the Currier as a great community museum, but what you may not know is that last year, the Currier offered more than $50,000 in scholarships and public programming to New Hampshire residents. To deliver this programming, the Currier has partnered with some of the area’s finest not-for-profits: Easter Seals, CHaD, Boys & Girls Club of Manchester, Head Start, the PLUS Company, Child Health Services and New Hampshire National Guard, to name a few.
If you would like to help support art education in the region, please donate to this worthy event, click here (pdf of donations document) or call Paul Staller at (603) 518-4915. Or buy a raffle chance to win an exquisite piece from prominent artist Vivian Beer. Either way, your gift will help support art education for many of the most deserving populations in our region.
If you are attending the event take a look at some of the early opportunities in our 2017 auction catalogue. Images and more items will be posted soon.
