Ages: 5-14 yrs.
Afternoon Session: 1:00 – 4:00 pm (after camp care is available until 5:30 pm for $30/week)
Dates: February 26 to March 2
Description: Imagine being able to create a world all your own … you’d be able to decide what animals, plants, trees, flowers and insects inhabit it. Does it have water? Does it have sculpture? Is it green – or perhaps blue and orange or pink and yellow? We’ll look at the gardens created by Augustus Saint-Gaudens as a source of inspiration, sculpting golden amphibians, creating reflecting pools with frogs and lily pads and working with your studio-mates to decide just what your secret places will contain!
Week-long vacation day camps are popular with families of children seeking an enrichment experience while school is out of session. All camps include supplies and an inspirational tour of the museum. Pack a snack to have during afternoon break.Register
