Join artist and Art Education Director, Bruce McColl, in this dynamic class where students will discover the virtues of painterly watercolors while working from interior arrangements that include flowers and still life elements. Rooted in the traditions of modernism, and inspired by painters such as Matisse, John Marin and Hans Hofmann, Bruce will challenge students to broaden their perspective on the application of watercolor painting by using expressive color and dynamic movement on a large scale. This course is recommended for students with some experience in watercolor painting who are willing to take risks with their painting practice.
