DIRECTIONS: I-293, take Exit 6-Amoskeag Bridge, bearing right to cross bridge (but staying in the left lane), following signs for US Route 3 and Business District to Elm Street. At traffic light, cross Elm and go 0.4 miles to Beech St. Turn right onto Beech. Follow Beech Street for about 0.5 miles, go one block past the museum (on the left) and take a right onto Pearl Street. The Art Center is on the corner of Pearl and Beech.
I-93, take Exit 8-Wellington Road/Bridge Street. Bear right at the end of the ramp, which becomes Bridge Street, and go 1.5 miles to Ash Street (after the third full traffic light). Turn right onto Beech. Follow Beech Street for about 0.5 miles, go one block past the museum (on the left) and take a right onto Pearl Street. The Art Center is on the corner of Pearl and Beech.

Museum Shop Discounts for Art Center Students
Art Center students who bring in their registration confirmation will receive a 20% discount in the Currier Museum Shop for their art class supplies!
Tuition Refund and Rescheduling Policies
Full tuition must accompany your application for registration (with the exception of students applying for tuition assistance.) Refund requests due to student withdrawal are granted up to a week before the class/workshop begins. A $25 non-refundable registration fee will be charged to students being refunded for classes and workshops. Tuition and fees will not be transferred to another term. This policy is strictly enforced. A full refund will be granted to students whose class/workshop is canceled due to insufficient enrollment. The Art Center reserves the right to change instructors.
Inclement Weather and Postponement Policies
Classes canceled or postponed because of weather will be made up, if possible, at the end of the term. During conditions of inclement weather students and faculty can call 603-669-6144 x122 for a recorded message after 7 a.m., or go to CURRIER.ORG for the latest update on classes. Additionally, the Art Center posts cancellations on www.wmur.com.
Arrival and Departure Policy for Students
Parents and legal guardians should accompany Art Foundations for Children students to and from their designated class during the Fall, Winter and Spring sessions. Exceptions to this procedure must be made in writing from the parent or guardian to the student’s instructor prior to the beginning of class.
We will occasionally photograph classes, students and student art for promotional purposes. Please notify the Art Center Office during time of enrollment if you wish to decline being photographed.
The Art Center reserves the right to dismiss a student for problematic behavior that results in the disruption of class. Use of personal technology in studios during class time, including cellphones, is prohibited. (See full policy below.) We have a zero tolerance for drug use, physical or verbal harassment, smoking or weapons on our premises.
The Currier Art Center restricts independent technology usage during school sessions. Compliance with these rules is expected of all students.
- No cellphone use in classroom during camp and class sessions.
- No use of gaming technology including smartphones, iPads, and Kindles (or similar technology) at any time during Art Center program hours. All technology of this sort, if brought on premises, will be held for safe keeping in Art Center office until the end of class time.
- If students need to contact parent or guardian during school hours, they may do so in the Art Center Office with approval of instructor or program manager.
Faculty and students are responsible for the appropriate management and storage of student artwork during the course of the term. During the last class of the term all artwork should be retrieved by students in coordination with their individual instructor, including work exhibited in the student exhibition. The Art Center is not responsible for the storage of student work after the conclusion of the term unless requested by instructor.
Class Certificates for High School Students
An Art Center Certificate of class completion is available upon request.
Professional Credit Hours for Teachers
All kindergarten through 12th grade teachers can receive “Professional Development” hours for adult classes and workshops at the Art Center! Notify our registrar that you wish to receive a certificate and one will be given to you after the completion of your class.
The Art Center accepts Currier Museum of Art gift certificates toward the costs of tuition.
