Art Center Policies
Arrival and Departure Policy for Students
Parents and legal guardians should accompany children aged 15 and under to and from their designated class. Exceptions to this procedure must be made in writing from the parent or guardian to the student’s instructor prior to the beginning of class.
Class Certificates for High School Students
An Art Center Certificate of class completion is available upon request.
Credit Hours for Teachers
The Art Center gives Developmental Credit Hours for all classes and workshops.

Facility Access
The Art Center is handicap accessible.
Gift Certificates
The Art Center accepts Currier Museum of Art gift certificates toward the costs of tuition.
Inclement Weather and Postponement Policies
Classes cancelled or postponed because of weather or other factors will be made up, if possible, at the end of the term. During conditions of inclement weather students and faculty can call 603.669.6144 x122 for a recorded message, or go to the Art Center home page for the latest update on classes. Additionally, the Art Center posts cancellations on www.wmur.com or WMUR TV, channel 9, on the hour and half hour.
Photography Policy
We will occasionally photograph classes, students, and student art work, for promotional purposes. If you wish to waive this right, please notify the Art Center during time of enrollment.
Storing Artwork
Faculty and students are responsible for the appropriate management and storage of student artwork during the course of the term. During the last class of the term all artwork should be retrieved by students in coordination with their individual instructor, including work exhibited in the student exhibition. The Art Center is not responsible for the storage of student work after the conclusion of the term.
Student Behavior
The Art Center reserves the right to dismiss a student for problematic behavior which results in the disruption of class. We have a zero tolerance for drug use, physical or verbal harassment, smoking, or weapons on our premises.
Tuition Refund and Rescheduling Policies
Full tuition must accompany your application for registration (with the exception of students applying for tuition assistance.) Refund requests are granted up to ten calendar days before the class/workshop begins. A $25 non-refundable registration fee will be charged to students being refunded for classes and workshops. Refunds will not be granted to students canceling within ten calendar days of their class/workshop. Tuition and fees will not be transferred to another term. This policy is strictly enforced. A full refund will be granted to students whose class/workshop is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. The Art Center reserves the right to change instructors.
